Sparks Lake is a beautiful and serene lake located in the Deschutes National Forest in Central Oregon. Surrounded by towering pine trees and the Three Sisters Wilderness, it offers a picturesque and peaceful setting for outdoor activities. Some popular activities at Sparks Lake are fly fishing, hiking, kayaking, boating, and mountain biking. Trails lead from the lake to the summit of South Sister, providing a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape and many opportunities to spot local wildlife. Amenities include campsites with fire pits and picnic tables. It’s important to come prepared and to be mindful of Leave No Trace principles when visiting the lake.
