Honoring Our Rivers is a collection of student art and creative writing about water, river critters, and our local ecosystems here in the Pacific Northwest. Every year, the project encourages K-12 students from Oregon and SW Washington to learn about how water affects their everyday lives.
Students reflect on aquatic ecosystems in poetry, prose, fiction, illustration, and photography. If you have a creative kid at home, get involved! The selected finalists will participate in exhibits, events, and readings hosted by Honoring Our Rivers and are published in the annual anthology.
Submissions are usually due in the spring. To learn more, visit their website at the link below.
